Event, Group, or Training

 Providers: We would love to promote your CRAFT-based events, groups, workshops, or trainings on HelpingFamiliesHelp.com!

The entire purpose of this website is to help get families connected with CRAFT-based resources and help CRAFT-based providers find support and community. To that end, I would love to point towards and amplify your CRAFT-based events, whether you are holding a training for providers, a workshop for families, or ongoing online groups for families.

Any events or new groups for the next month will be included in the monthly Family Event Newsletter. Click here for a sample from March, 2024.

  • These events have a start date and an end date. Events listed on either Event webpages will be removed once registrants can no longer sign up, even if the event is still occurring.

    Examples:
    • A 12-week course that allows folks to join for the first 3 sessions and then closes their registry. The event will be removed after the 3rd session.
    • A 2-day training. The event will be removed the day of the training.
    • A 6-week course that folks can join at any time. The event will be removed after the 6th week.

    Events that are multi-day events and still open to registrants will be reordered to their next date once the previous date has passed to keep the listing chronological (to the best of my ability).
    Events that are longer than 2 months and are able to be joined at any time will be listed in the Ongoing Groups page.

  • Groups are provided on an ongoing basis and are available for family members to drop in at any time. The page is listed by weekday to make it easy for someone to find a group for that day.
    • If your group is time-limited and is not open for drop-ins (meaning that you will close the group to new comers at some point) let’s get your group listed on the Events page instead.
    • If your group is time limited, but is planned to last more than 2 months AND is open for drop-ins right to the end… let’s keep you on the Ongoing Groups page for the duration of your series so I don’t have to keep changing your event!

Once you have submitted the information, if your event fills up and closes its registration, please let me know as soon as possible! At that time I will shut the registration link down and provide indication that the event is full, but will leave your event up until the time of the event has passed (unless it has been cancelled).
